The successful event series entitled “Talk of Town” organised by the Karben-based furniture manufacturer enters its second phase.
Karben, November 2009 – The Karben-based furniture manufacturer König + Neurath is using the “Talk of Town” event series to present the two product innovations JUVENTA and OKAY.II to the trade, once again underlining its expertise in the chair market following the successful launch of SENSONA. Highly functional as well as featuring outstanding ergonomic properties and a modern design; this was the brief for the development of these two new chair models. At seven events held in the K+N branch offices, dealers were able to experience a whole new sitting sensation, with the theme “Sits like a glove”.
JUVENTA: the most intelligent solution is simple
With JUVENTA, all the individual requirements and needs of a modern task chair have been implemented without neglecting the high standard of ergonomic comfort. A proven synchronous mechanism ensures that the chair movements follow the body closely during dynamic sitting. With the new OKAY.II chair, König + Neurath focuses on the combination of the established vsp synchronous mechanism with a new backrest concept. The user can choose between two high-quality backrest styles for extremely comfortable sitting: the highly flexible, breathable mesh option allows air to circulate freely and provides a comfortable counter-pressure. The mesh back also gives the chair a certain lightness and elegance, so that it integrates perfectly with existing room concepts. A weight-bearing elastic 3D fabric is used for the upholstered backrest alternative, which ensures an ideal temperature balance. The core of this new backrest concept is a new type of lumbar support that can be adjusted asymmetrically and is integrated almost invisibly into the backrest. It features infinitely variable adjustment in height and depth, so that the user’s lumbar region is supported precisely according to his requirements and preferences. This takes the strain off the intervertebral discs, and it is possible to correct bad posture individually. The eye-catching feature of the sophisticated, elegant chair is the substantially designed backrest support that forms a bridge between the backrest and seat. The Company König + Neurath
Established in 1925. Now an international supplier of complete ranges of office furniture, seating and room systems. Managed by the owner Egon König, not quoted on the stock exchange and therefore independent. On 1st August 2007, Egon König became a member of the Supervisory Board and handed over the position of Managing Director to Dr. Wolfgang Reising.
